It’s six years for me, but I’m surprised you gave options only up to three years. Gaps of 5, 10 or more years aren’t uncommon. ---

I’m the oldest. My sister is exactly 3 years minus 11 days younger than me. My brother is 10.5 yrs younger. ---

Siblings born in Mar 55, Jul, 56, Sep 57, Nov 58 (me), miscarriage, Oct 60, Apr 62, hysterectomy. Don’t know if mom lost one in 61 or not. German Catholic. Dad said rhythm was spelled P-R-E-G-N-A-N-T. ---

I’m surprised both at the large amount of \>3y spacing and at the other extreme didn’t expect to find any \<1y (except for twins). ---
