…I’m only sorta kidding. I don’t actually have anyone to PDA with right now. But, if I did, I don’t think the issue would be so much “one of us having it” but more the same sort of issue with touching your face with your hands. It’s more about environmental contamination. And at least some PDA can involve putting your hands on your face or at least close.

Sure, no standing 6 feet apart or anything, but I could see it causing minor changes.

Or maybe she’s sick of Skald’s constant attempts to obliquely include prurient details into every single post. They always have:

  1. A woman with whom he wants to have sex and/or

I really intended to ignore the silliness. But OK.

In the thread about my waitress acquaintance whom I think I called Becca, I never insinuated that she had any sexual interest in me. In fact, I said that I was virtually certain she had NO sexual interest in me and that her kindness was born strictly from professionalism and handling my special needs because of my blindness.

In mentionioning my work wife over the years, the fact that our relationship is strictly friendly and platonic has always been on view.

I am quite certain I have never described my work wife’s appearance in anyway. As for Becca, I gave another man’s appraisal of her. I myself don’t really have any opinion of her appearance, because I met her after my eyes went to shit and she has never been within the very short radius in which I can see another persons facial features with any detail.

How any of that can be described as objectifying is beyond me. Part of me is tempted to dump the board again in irritation over this, but I’m not going to simply because I refuse to give people the satisfaction.

Only my mother’s influence kept me from using a stronger word than “People” in the previous paragraph.
