Also, don’t forget that they didn’t get charged for their first round. Assuming that was true for the whole band and not just Jake and Elwood, add 10 free ones to whatever number they drank that they’re paying for. ---

10 beers in a night? My friends and I call that a ‘Wednesday’. Not a ‘Friday’ or a ‘Saturday’ because those days we drink a lot more beer. I will say that a bar like that back then a bottle could’ve been a $1, 20 beers a piece is a more reasonable number.
