There is significant breakdown of the structure in meat when we cook it. Even a rare steak has been structurally “damaged” per se. Remember we as a species started cooking our meat because it tasted better and it was easier to eat than raw meat, not because the FDA said so.
For an experiment get your hands on a nice fresh steak and cut off a little piece and try to chew it. Its quite a chore.
The skin will stretch before it breaks, I can see where your playdough anology would make sense but scissors apply way more force to a very small area than your teeth do and playdough has nowhere near the tensile strength of our skin.
IF you grab a small chunk of skin with your front teeth you could rip a little chunk out of someone, but we are just not built to fight with our teeth like predatory animals are. Our weapons are our brains and tools.
