Isn’t the idea that babies remember from birth and even still in the womb part of Dianetics and/or Scientology? Completely nuts of course.
Although memory is near nonexistent for newborns that doesn’t mean that early experiences have no long term effects. The brain is still very much being formed and the neuron connections are forming at a high rate in response to any outside stimuli.

I think the point of the exercise is to cover the *baby’s *face with your hands and he will think you’ve gone away. If you cover your own eyes he just thinks you’re bonkers.
Not all moms are screaming. I was unconscious when my son was born. 
Absolutely! I played hard rock and heavy metal for my child in the womb because I wanted a kid I would enjoy going to concerts with. Guess what! It worked. 
I got nothing for this. 
I learned that humans of the female variety have what are called “fingers” and that they take these “fingers” and poke you in the eyeball while you are trying to have fun playing hopscotch in your moms uterus.
