# How much do women's breasts weigh?

I decided to put this here, since there is probably a lot of variation between different women, so there might not be an entirely factual answer to this question.
I know some woman are troubled by back pain because of large breasts. How much do they weigh to cause back pain? Would a similarly weighted backpack ‘counter’ the strain the breasts are exerting on a woman’s back?

Well, couldn’t you do a calculation using the density of flesh in question, then multiply the density by the volume of the breasts in question?

Mine only weigh a teensy bit. ☹
The weighing method above would work if you could lay the ol’ golf ball in a sock titties on a scale, but what about those of us who are “too attached” to our titties to be able to weigh them? Besides - mine fluctuate. If I gain a few pounds, that is the last place anything extra shows up. But if I lose a few pounds, that’s the first place noticeable!!! :mad:

Well, in order to weigh 'um, I’d think you’d need a helper to stand behind you to umm…hold them up for you while you step on a scale and then measure sans-bust-hefter-helper. That’s a mouthful and a handful to boot. Ugh, I’m ashamed of myself now…Since el hubbo is out of town, my scientific theory is untested.
I guess you could also do a liquid volume measurement if you can convince a girl to stick her asset into water…warmed of course. Perhaps we can get the “boys” measured as well…with cold water vs. warm water…prove that Seinfeld episode…

Heh, well, she ain’t really fat but a friend did actually weigh them and they came out to be 5 lbs…each.
Of course she’s DD ~38
My Gf on the other hand is roughly 6 lbs together using…umm…non-scientific measuring.

[hijack] Honestly, that sounds better to me than anything mentioned about “DD” or “36-38”. Small and firm are much better looking breasts, IMHO, YMMV.

Weight each puppy in a bucket of water, taking care to completely push the bap underwater (I don’t know, use skinny hands, tongs, or something). Measure the mass of water lost (in your local units of choice) each hooter displaces - either by collecting the overflow or by difference - then multiply the figure by 0.85.
Sigh, everytime I reduce an erogenous zone down to an engineering problem a little part of my labido dies. At least I learnt that the specific gravity of breast tissue is 0.85.

Umm, 36-38 has nothing whatsoever to do with breast size. That’s just the size of her ribcage. The letters tell you about actual breast size. Basically, each progressive letter means an extra inch difference in the circumference of the ribs versus the bust.

Ok, I actually have a scientific answer for this. At least in my situation. (Scientific because I got to read the required pathology report.)
I’ve had mine surgically reduced. A total of 9 lbs was removed. (What a great weight loss plan! “Lose 9 lbs in two hours! Only $31,000.00!!!”)
But keep in mind that some breasts are composed of a lot of breast tissue (like mine were) which makes them heavier. Some are composed of more fat tissue, which would make them weigh less, even though they might be the same size.

To add data to **niblet\_head** ’s…I had reduction surgery in November of last year and they removed 7 lbs 3 oz of breast tissue, and I’m still a full C cup. So, take that as you will

Well my friend and coworker, Jen, had her boobage weighed during an exam for backpain and possible reduction. Her bigger than double D’s came in at 8-9 lbs each. She is quite huge, yet very slim. Her sister had a breast reduction (poor kid is only 5’1") and had them reduced to a DD. She was off the charts, and topped 20 lbs total.
(Disclaimer: I only know this because my wife had a reduction, too. They’ve all talked about it.)
