Yeah, just encourage him to have his friends over often, during which time they can help themselves to whatever they can find in the cabinets.

The operation of mine Elemental Converter would be far more than can be expressed in Terran currency. Suffice it to say that were I to provide fair financial compensation for merely my Herald, the amount would bankrupt the treasury of all your kingdoms and nations from the beginning of your inferior race to the end of your days (I have you penciled in for Thursday).  
…serious answer, about $200 per month, just me and a roommate.
