# How Much Do You Tip A Carriage Driver

I wanted to take a carriage ride next time in New York City, you know the horses that ride through Central Park.

I am pretty sure you have to tip the driver. What is it? Is it a percentage of the price? Or a standard tip?

I would do a percentage of the price. For me, it’s always 20 percent. Not that I’ve ever taken a carriage ride, but that’s my standard tip for everything.
