# How much does it cost to live where you live?

I’d like to talk more about about living in and around DC, but maybe I should start another thread.

I was at a coworker’s house in Lanham. ~$400k, 4 bedroom. Not a floodplain (I just checked; thank you for reminding me that’s necessary.) Her commute is the same as my metro trip if she leaves early, but not everyone can do that. Anyway, it’s a weird area. Not exactly sure how I should formulate an OP…
