# How much does making plurals with apostrophes bother you?

For the same reason “myself” has replaced “I,” “me,” and “my;” people are stupid.

Just now at lunchtime I passed a restaurant on 7th Avenue with a chalkboard outside listing the **Lunch Special’s**. I took a Kleenex out of my bag and corrected it, to the amusement of two women reading the menu.

I drive by a street sign nearly every day that designates that road as Greenville Hill’s. Drives me nuts and is pretty much what could be expected from this area of the country (deep south).

It’s off topic, but is it not possible to turn off the autocorrection thingie? Because if it’s not, I’d probably end up smashing mine in rage before long, then tracking down whoever was responsible and delivering an atomic wedgie.
