I gotta clean my glasses. Then wear them. Or, I could ascribe it to hipster irony so above your head, “You just don’t get it, man!” Yeah, I’ll take the second route. 
It’s an extension of Murphy’s law, as extended to misspelling things. It makes perfect sense for it to be a misspelling of that law.
