Do you find out immediately if you’ve won or lost, or do you have to go home for 24 hours not knowing your outcome? I’ll take lots of chances on an instance, but not so much if I have to sit and agonize over the whole thing, because that’s not a painless death by any means, nor to me worth any amount of money. ---

I can see how having kids might make the choice more difficult, but for me, absolutely I would do it. I have always wanted to be rich - there’s nothing wrong with that. And if you die, meh, it happens to all of us sooner or later. ---

And I would never have agreed to forgo seeing my son for any amount of money. ---

I wouldn’t do it for any amount. I went from having too little money to having more than enough, and frankly, it hasn’t made much of a difference to me. And since I already have more than enough, there’s not much advantage to having even more. Also, I’ve known more than my share of trust fund babies and for the most part I’d say the inheritance is more of a curse than a blessing. I just don’t think that money does that much for you, past a certain point. I really don’t mean this in a bad way, but I guess there’s a big values clash between me and some of the other posters.
