# How much to star in a porno?

Assume you have the willing partner of your choice - wife, boyfriend, stranger, Mila Kunis, whoever. How much would it take for you to have sex on camera, in a very standard porno scene? Kissing / fondling, oral, intercourse, money shot.
Assume it’s a scene that will be on several compilation videos, and available on Redtube or Youporn, or some free service.

I voted for $100,000. But honestly I’d probably do it for less - maybe $10K. My biggest worry would be that someone I knew would see it.

I’d have to calculate the loss of income from the remaining years of my teaching career plus the negative impact on my pension. Doing this would inevitably result in being dismissed under the morals clause in my contract. I don’t think a million dollars will cover it.

It’s only that risk that makes the question interesting. If I knew no one I knew would see it, I’d do it for practically nothing. If I have to risk it being viewed by friends, coworkers, and/or family, I’d want the million bucks.
I wonder if the results skew by gender?

I wouldn’t do it. If it were going to be on the Internet and readily available for the general public, there’s no way I’d want that sort of thing out there. There are certain things the general public (and potentially co-workers, relatives, friends, acquaintances, etc) just doesn’t need to see, and my “O face” is one of them.

It is very different for women, I’d say. With men it’d be an air of “that’s disgusting but boys will be boys”. I can’t see how I wouldn’t get constantly slut-shamed if certain people knew about it.

Doesn’t this kind of transform the question into ‘You can have sex with the hot celebrity of your choice, but it’ll be taped and released to the public. Go for it or not?’ The money is pretty much gravy to me at that point. The hard part is picking just one celebrity.

As something of a pragmatist, I will admit that if someone were to approach me with such an offer, and start counting out hundred dollar bills in a pile on my desk, there is a number at which I’d agree to do it. I’m not sure what that number is at the moment. Like many lawyers, I still harbor dreams of one day becoming a judge, and doing porn would kill that dream forever and all time. It might also ruin the law practice I’ve just opened. So it would take an improbably large number of hundred dollar bills…

I’d forgotten about this part. Can I claim it was accidentally released? That I never meant to have it be for public consumption?

I’d do it for free and I don’t see myself ever being in a position where it would really harm my reputation as I wouldn’t want to do the kind of thing where people would care. I wouldn’t pay to be in one though, and I don’t think anyone would actually want to see it.
Oddly enough though there actually is a porn movie with a dead ringer lookalike of me in it. I know this cause it was discovered and then pointed out to me by amused colleagues somewhere I used to work and upon seeing it for a few moments _I_ actually wondered how on earth I’d been so drunk I forgot I made a porno.
To anyone who knows what I look like, it’s called “oh no there’s a negro in my wife” and the google image search in the spoiler comes up with it.
