Tell us Bengangmo, just how big is that tiny little seed of doubt? Will it sprout to Kauri-size if you don’t crush the French in the first half? 😃 I’m almost glad that England haven’t progressed, they can’t hurt me any longer. Hope is a terrible thing, certainty can be even worse. FWIW, 27-12 to the All Blacks. ---

Les Bleus could only beat Wales by one point even though they were playing 15 v 14 for more than half of the game and even though Wales missed six out of seven kicks at goal. They lost in the group round to Tonga, which may not actually be a country. So if NZ is ever going to stop being to rugby what South Africa is to cricket, they’re going to have to do it now. The NZeds by 20, or France by 1. ---

They were all athletic, but not particularly large, until this absolute gargantuan of a man came off the plane. I can’t find a website that gives height and weight of the team. In the US, height and weight are listed for all athletes. Anyway, does anyone know who this guy was? ---

Typically the locks are the big lads so it may have been [Tom Palmer](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tom_Palmer_(rugby_union)) or [Simon Shaw](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simon_Shaw), both around 6’ 8" Or it may have been “Ferengi” himself, [Martin Johnson](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martin_Johnson_(rugby_union)). If it was him, you’ll remember…he LOOMS, and not just because of his size. You can see all the World Cup squads [here](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2011_Rugby_World_Cup_squads), but that list doesn’t show heights and weights. My guess is you saw a lock (or possibly a prop) and a quick check of the English locks makes me think you saw [Simon Shaw](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simon_Shaw). ---

I’m hoping three tries vs a penalty in the first half, then ride on the laurels in the second with tit for tat scoring. And I just found out I will be away from home for the final - probably have to watch it amongst non drinking soccer fans. Sometimes life sucks!
