C’mon you guys. Roughly (very roughly) 50% of Americans voted to elect Dubya. Twice. We have already elected a stupid bitch President twice. Kardashian is a LOT better looking than Bush. AND she has a sex tape. Win! ---

Easily done - she could be the one cabinet member who stays home from a big event like an inauguration in case of massive nuclear attack or whatever to preserve the line of succession. Then she’d just need to secretly arrange for a massive nuclear attack. Not a problem. The White House would probably be blown to bits though. That’s a minus. ---

Split the difference. Kardasian bankrolls the campaign of some respected public figure (let’s call him Jefferson Smith) and promotes him into a position as a viable independent political candidate. Kardasian’s not the front man so she’s not the primary focus of public attention. The general public is focusing on Smith’s abilities, not Kardasian’s - she’s the background figure. But at the convention, Smith announces he’s naming Kardasian as his running mate. Okay, that causes some buzz but people are going to figure Kardasian has been there all along for Smith’s campaign and she is one of his top advisers - it kind of makes sense he’d name her. Besides, it’s not really about Kardasian; it’s about Smith - he’s the guy running for President. So with Kardasian’s financial backing, Jefferson Smith becomes a major political force. And on Election Day, the people vote for President Smith (and Vice President Kardasian). At this point, Kardasian puts Phase Two into effect - the assassination of President Elect Smith. The patsy with a history of mental illness has been found, the real shooters are in place, the connections exist to kill the patsy before the trial. It all goes down as planned and on January 20, Kim Kardasian (wearing a black dress in honor of the fallen Jefferson Smith) is sworn in as President of the United States. ---

You think he could have been elected as an independent with nothing to run on but his personal abilities? He needed to run as a candidate who had an (R) next to his name. (Not a partisan shot. Bush could also have run as a Democrat. I’m just pointing out that a nominee from either of the two big parties can count on tens of millions of automatic votes. An independent candidate is starting from zero.) Or Kardashian could have followed Bush’s example and sought out a big party nomination. But realistically (assuming that has any meaning in this thread) I don’t see that happening. Donald Trump shows what happens when a millionaire tries to just buy his way into the nomination. In the big two parties, an outsider is going to be facing competition from all the insiders who are seeking the same nomination. The outsider may have money but the insiders have all the connections and know the system. ---
