I got a 7, and that’s by going with the more narcissistic choice on all the toss-ups. Then I went back and chose all the narcissistic answers that I felt were reasonably compatible with not being a dick. I got a 30. So, if you got above a 30, um. . . _Braaaaiiiiiinnnns._ Anyway, I understand why it’s done that way, but it always drives me nuts that these sorts of psych tests run on the “excluded middle” fallacy. Because my most accurate answers _would_ fall right in the middle. I’m neither modest nor immodest; I don’t downplay my accomplishments, but I don’t brag about them either. So which should I choose? I never know. ---

I’m most surprised that exploitativeness was that high, and vanity that low…the only reason I didn’t answer with “I get mad when people don’t notice me” is because it doesn’t happen very often. I have a cold and still catch guys staring appreciatively, so it’s not like I _need_ to seek out attention. I don’t like the pairs that could both be yes answers like “yes, I can easily manipulate people” but “yes, I dislike it when I realize I’m manipulating people” also is true. I only lie to them deliberately, I don’t try to make them do things they don’t want to. ---
