It’s called being Poop-shy. I learned that from an ad for some probiotic shit(Oops, I mean suppliment) ---

Once a day, within 45 minutes of waking and coffee intake. Easy and satisfying, no drama or straining. Good bulk. Astonishingly regular: unless I’m traveling, I’ll bet I don’t have to have a movement anywhere other than in my home even twice a year.\* When I got my initial consultation for a colonoscopy, the doctor asked me, in so many words, how am I doing on that front. I told him I’m a model citizen, eliciting a chuckle from him. \*Traveling can be a problem though, and often is. The dreaded [vacation constipation](https://www.thehealthy.com/digestive-health/constipation/travelers-constipation-on-vacation/) is a thing with me. Days of inability or paltry results, and then a sudden, intense need to go RIGHT NOW, accompanied with pain that feels like I’m being bayoneted in the groin, and usually at times and locations that can be rather inconvenient. ---

One of the Scout Leaders I worked with pointed out that when you’ve got a kid, normally friendly and involved, who is out-of-character at camp, one of the things you do when you take him aside is to ask him when he last pooped.
