Although I voted “twice a day” I would more accurately answer “as needed”. Most days morning and evening. Add a “before dinner” if I feel the need, and a “before going out” if we are going out. ---

First thing in the morning, under normal circumstances. All bets are off when my chores involve heavy physical labor - like yard work or painting or any sweaty jobs. ---

If I don’t wash my hair in the morning, it starts to look super, super-greasy by about 1 p.m. So a shower every morning is pretty much non-negotiable for me. ---

I like hot water falling on me in the morning, as it helps me wake up and it feels good to start the day clean. Because the work that I do is very physically demanding, and because most of my recreational activities involve lots of sweaty physical activity, I also normally shower in the evening, to prevent my bed from becoming filthy every night. ---

Every morning or I don’t really feel awake. On top of that, I have bad sinuses so the steam and a nice neti pot session are very handy when I get up in the morning. Showers are great for that. ---

I shower every morning unless I am working in the yard on a weekend. In that case, I shower after I am finished which hopefully is before dark. I think we (USAians) probably shower more often than we need to. ---

I think we need a shower after my workout option. That amounts to once a day, but it’s in the morning if I did cardio, in the evening if I did weights, and in the afternoon if it’s the weekend. ---

I shower when I get up in the morning if I’m going to work although that can and does slide on weekends. I’m also working out twice a day and shower after at least my lunch time workout although sometimes I’ll skip a shower after the evening workout. I figure it averages out to right about twice a day. ---

Twice a day on weekdays, one in the morning when I get up and one after my workout in the afternoon. On weekends I’ll usually work out in the morning so I just shower after that, though a second shower before going out on a Saturday is certainly not unheard of. ---

I shower every morning. Most mornings these days I ride my bike, and do sweat, so generally I take a fast shower when I get home - literally just soap up, scrub my hair with my fingers, and out. In the morning is when I do everything else. I wash my hair every other day. Not only can I not wake up without a shower - after all, it’s a habit borne of 20+ years - my hair simply will not set right unless it’s wet. it’s curly, thin, and on the dry side, which means that if I comb it while dry it turns into a giant frizzy mess. If I don’t wash it every other day at least it fills up with tangles and makes me cry to comb it. Besides all the getting clean stuff, showering is a genuine pleasure. In the winter, it’s hot water. In the summer, it’s cool, and then I leave my hair down - two feet of it - so I continue remaining cool for like two hours, as it keeps my back wet. I love it. ---

Another for every morning, perhaps a second time during the day/evening if I’ve been working out and need to fraternize with other people, perhaps less if it’s Saturday and I’m not going anywhere, except maybe the drug store.
