# How often is there maintainence?

Tuba,

In the past few days I’ve been getting the “boards are closed for maintainence” message- occasionally every other time I jump forums. Have there been a lot of hangups of late?

The techs have been trying to get a handle on our continuing problem, why the board has these occasional slowdowns and people get the “timed out” message when they access the system.

As they’ve tried various things, it has sometimes necessitated taking the system down for a few minutes, adjusting coding, then turning the system back on, then taking the system back down, adjusting the coding some more . . . etc.

We apologize for any inconvenience you may have suffered, it’s hopefully one of those things where a spot outage now keeps us from having bigger problems later on.
