It was the one at the Carnegie Library in Pittsburgh but it WAS a Carnegie Hall. 🙂 Continuing the return process at the package center today and am doing it slightly ill; inner ear issues. Have a steroid pack from the doc for it but putting off starting that until I tomorrow. Well, its not like I haven’t been accused of being a little “dizzy” before. ---

Blurf. definitely Blurf. First I can’t find Oscar Meyer Braunsweiger anywhere; it has been my go-to lunch meat for 55 years and made me the man I am today (60 lbs’ overweight and bald, but hey, nobodies perfect…). It means at the age of 62 that I may need to (gasp!) alter my diet (shudder). Second got a note that one of my friends who lives in England has had a reoccurance of his cancer and has been given until Spring 2016. Tim is too damn good a soul to be leaving this early (he’s n his late 60’s), and I don’t see how I can get over there to see him and his wife before then. Damn. So both body and soul are feeling weary this AM. At least I am scheduled for Windows 10 installation and the lawn is well watered. Happy Toosday! More like an irritating Toosday but what else is new right? I knew there would be a screw up with the mortgage servicing transfer so I guess I will be on the phone all morning fixing it. I’m about ready to knock the crap out of the kid too. I want the windows open and he goes behind me closing them because - I don’t know why. He says he’s afraid somebody will break in. I don’t want to tell him this, I’m not a burglar and even I could break into this house in under 5 minutes with nothing more than a screwdriver. If I didn’t care about making noise and having to repair a window, I can do it in under a minute with a rock or a hammer. What’s the point of having all these nice windows if we’re not going to open them? Yesterday not only did he close the kitchen window but he set the little doohickies so I can’t open the window more than 2 inches. I can’t reach the things to unset them unless I move the table. He gets this crap from my mother. \*\*Butters \*\* I’d not say anything. They get fired they have nobody to blame but themselves. If people are going to cheat the least they can do is be polite enough to be discrete so other people don’t have to know about it. Anyway, I need to get some breakfast, might help my mood a bit. The garage is ready for pellets - yay! The wisteria has been hacked back so it won’t attack the truck - yay! Other runners from the wisteria have been pulled up and cut back before they cover the shed and the house and slow-moving passersby - yay! After I cool down, I’ll go back out and hack some more off. \*\*sari \*\*- I’m not mother of the year, so if my kid kept closing windows that I wanted open, there’d be some serious smacking going on. 😉 You need to speak to him with you dealing-with-idiots-on-the-phone voice. That’ll take care of it! 😃 Now, what to have for lunch? I’m thinking there’s some leftover pulled poke in the fridge… ---

Say what you will about the expense of Stanley Steemer, but day-um the carpet looks good and smells better, and I only had to write the check when they were done. They pulled out stuff I never even knew was embedded in the nap. Dirt, chunks of concrete, Jimmy Hoffa’s corpse… ---

Back from my meeting with the Accreditation Team and they said I did GREAT. Whew, what a relief that is. They are coming to my facility around 3 and after that I will be done with the whole process. Thank goodness. The organization gets accredited as a whole so depending on other facilities and programs we may or may not make it. If we do not it will not be because of my program. ---

The new mortgage company wasn’t so bad to deal with once I got through all the menu crap o the phone. The old mortgage servicing company put the wrong transfer date in the letter. They said they would take mortgage payments up through August 2, but they actually stopped on July 31. Kind of a big mistake when most mortgage payments are due on the 1st. Only when I need to run the AC or furnace **Flytrap** I hate to see my next electric bill. It’s a bit warm in here but the humidity is low and there’s a nice breeze. **FCM** I think if I used my dealing-with-idiots-on-the-phone voice with the kid he’d be in shock. It may be what is needed for this situation. Anybody who tries to break in a window here is going to need a step ladder or be strong enough to pull themselves up to the window. I want to give the house a good airing, there’s a smell I can’t find. Even when my mother and niece were here they could smell it but not figure out where it’s coming from. It’s kind of musty, kind of like old smoke, kind of like burnt food. It’s not coming from the basement, nobody smokes, we don’t have a fireplace, and I haven’t burnt anything. ---
