92, my maternal grandfather. He’s still in good health too, so I might know a centinarian here before too much longer. Or he could die tomorrow, who knows! ---

92 for me as well. She is my great aunt and she even has a living older sister who is 95 but I haven’t seen her in decades. Extreme longevity is common on that side of the family. My grandfather is 87 and still physically fine and mentally perfect except he talks and acts like it is still 1962. ---

Oddly enough, 3 of the oldest people I know died in April and May (grandpa and two great aunts). Older than all of those folks, and still alive, is my dad’s uncle who is 93. I haven’t seen him in about 8 years, though. ---

97 years old - library patron who comes in with her aide. She’s still walking with a cane, deaf as a post, but lively and loves to read. She comes in once every two weeks to visit and chat and get her new bookstash. Next oldest is my grandmother at 96 (just turned), and then my stepfather is 92. ---

95 And he’s not related to me, he’s one of my closest friends in the world. I worked in his small business when I was younger. His second wife died last year and he now has a new 76 year old girlfriend. And yes, they have an intimate relationship. ---

After my grandmother died at 104 the next oldest I know are two aunts who are 92 and 90. ---

Grampa’s 92, will be 93 in a few months, God willing. He’s still in pretty good health, drives, lives in a private residence, etc. I’m hoping he’s got a decade or more left. ---

My wife’s great aunt is 99, I think. Or possibly 98. Still lives on her own, too. ---

Currently, my 88 year old aunt. Of all time, a great-aunt who was born in 1889 and lived to be 99. I saw her pretty much daily in the '70s and lived in the house with her for several years in the 1980s. ---

A friend of my mom’s made it to 106, but she’s gone now (as is Mom). Oddly, although I’m in my late 50s myself, I’m having trouble thinking of anyone I regularly interact with who is much older than I am. Maybe my mom’s other friend, who’s around 80, but I only hear from her once or twice a year. Pretty much every senior relative I’ve ever had has passed on. ---

My friend Buck is a 94 year old veteran who saw sailed in the one of the most decorated ships in US naval history, the [USS Nicholas](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USS_Nicholas_(DD-449)), from the time it came out of the shipyard to the last day of the war. ---

My Grammie died at 98, just a week shy of her 99th birthday. Her six grandsons were the pall-bearer. First and only time I’ve been a pall-bearer. ---
