My mother was 21 when she had my brother, who only lived 2 days, 23 when my sister was born, 25 when she had me. My father was 4 days older than my mother, but happened to be 26 when I was born. šŸ™‚ ---

My mom was 24 years old when I was born, and Iā€™m the youngest of four children (boy, girl, boy, me (girl)) born between '78 and '83. I was 20 years old when I gave birth to my son, Alex, last year. Heā€™s the youngest of four grandchildren (boy, boy, girl, boy) for my parents born to 3/4 of their children (the second of their boys has yet to procreate) between '97 and '03, with two of the children born three weeks apart (my son and his cousin). I like parentheses! šŸ™‚ ---

19 when she had my sister, 21 when she had me. She had the Kid Brother the day before her 26th birthday. He was 5 1/2 weeks late, and they induced labor because, as she says, all she wanted for her birthday was to not be pregnant anymore. I imagine nowadays theyā€™d induce much earlier. Dadā€™s 10 years older than Mom. ~S ---

My mother had my sister when she was 19 and I was born 1 year and 6 days later when she was 20. My grandmother had my father in Yugoslavia when she was 15 and my uncle was born in between my sister and me when she was 35. She had assumed that termination of pregnancy was the norm in 1960ā€™s NZ as she had terminated several pregnancies in Yugoslavia. ---

I was born exactly three weeks before my motherā€™s 29th birthday, the younger of two. Mom and Dad were both 24 when my older brother was born. It freaks me out no end to realize that in less than three months, I will be exactly the same age Mom was when she had me. ---

My mother was 20 years old when she married my father (who was 21). She had my oldest brother at 21. She had my next oldest brother at 22. She had my late brother at 23. She then realized that if she didnā€™t stop she was going to go completely ape shit and turn into Charles Whitman. She was 29 when I was born and 29 when she demanded that my father have a vasectomy. ---

Mom was 26 when I was born - other kids were born at 24, 28, and 41 years of age (they apparently didnā€™t want to have any babies around when they were in their 30s). ---

Mom was 33 and, according to my Grandma, too old to have more kids, when she had me. Iā€™m the youngest of four. She had my oldest sister at 17, and my second sister at 19. She was 26 when she had the sister Iā€™m closest in age to. ---

After a quick skimming, it seems my mother was the youngest in this thread other than the one who had the friend with the 14-year old mother. My mother was 16 when she had me, her only child. Seduced by her (married) high-school teacher. :eek: ---

My mother wa a month shy of her 29th birthday when my brother was born, dad was 29. My mom was 33 when I was born, my dad almost 34. My sister (whom Iā€™ve never met because my parents gave her up for adoption which is a long and sordid story that doesnā€™t make any sense to me) was born when my mom was 37 and my father was four days shy of 38. Youā€™d expect people to get more responsible with age. They didnā€™t. Oh, and when I was in elementry school in the mid 90s my friends parents were a good decade younger then mine. Never understood that, either. ---

My mom was 28 and she 33 whe she had my liā€™l sis. My parents got married when they were 19 (mom) & 20 (dad), but apparently didnā€™t bother having kids right away šŸ˜ƒ ---

She was 31 when my bro was born and 39 when I arrived. Doctors had told her years earlier that she would never have kids. ---

My folks were 41 when I was born. A couple of years later they adopted my younger sister. When I was a kid I used to be somewhat embarressed to have ā€œold parentsā€ā€¦ now I just miss them because they have passed away. ---

My Mom was 23 when she married, 1946 My Mom was 28 when she got pregant for the first time, miscarriage My Mom was 31 when my sister was born My Mom was 38 when I was born. During WWII my mother became real sick and the Dr had to remove most of ovaries. The Dr. told her she would never have children. She obviously proved them wrong. At times when I was younger, I thought that my Mom was too old to be my mother. All of my friends Momā€™s were much younger than my Mom and all of my Momā€™s friends had children that were much older than me. Of course my biggest regret is that she died at age 62, I was 24.
