Mom was 35 when I was born in 1969; Dad was 38. I was the third of three; for my sister, they were 30 and 33; for my brother, 36 and 32. (Brother came between their birthdays, hence the spread change.) My grandmother was 26 when my mom was born in '34; Granddad was 31. Other grandmother was 26 when Dad was born in '31; Granddad was 36. ---

I was born in September, halfway between my parent’s birthdays. Therefore Mum was already 23 and Dad turned 23 three months later. ``` .......... **˄** ``` The bit that answers the question Superfluous extra information of dubious relevence … **˅** My Dad’s family have trouble managing more than three generations a century. The 22.75 year gap between my father and me is the smallest for several generations. There’s 35 years between my Dad and his father, 35 years between my grandfather and _his_ father, and between my great grand father and his dad was a remarkable 70 years (and he was the oldest of three! It was a second marriage… a _late_ second marriage). So from Bill to Syd to Doug to Gray to Cazzle is 70+35+35+23=163 years, 5 generations. My Mum’s family could crank out 8 in that same time period, easy. There’s 31 years between my daughter and I, so we’re making a return to the longer generation gaps. ---

My mother was 29 and my dad 25 when I was born. I was the second of five. My maternal grandparents were both 27 when Mom was born, the fifth of 14. My paternal grandmother was 31 and grandfather 24 when Dad was born, the fourth of five. One sister was 32/34/36 when her kids were born. Her husband was 43/45/47. Another sister was 40 and her husband 60 when their daughter was born. ---

They were 40 when I was born; the age difference was less than six months. (They got married right after college.) ---

My Dad was 32. My Mom was 31. I’m 32 now, actually. I remember when I was a kid, my Dad told me when I’m 32, I’ll be half his age. It seemed forever away and now, here I am. 🙂 ---

My mom was 21, my dad was 24. I’m the oldest - my sister is 20 months younger than me and my brother is 22 months younger than her. My grandmother was 24 and my grandfather 27 when my eldest uncle was born. ---

Mom 21, Dad 23. The one that always baffles me, my grandmother’s mom was 19 and her dad was 64 when she was born. It was his 3rd marriage. She had two half sisters, one 23 years older than her(I knew her and she was cool) and one that was 45 years older than her. ---

My father was 51 and my mother was 37. Nearly all of my cousins were older than me, but on my dad’s side, it seemed a bit ridiculous since he was the youngest of 11 children. My first cousins on his side were generally the same age as my friends grandparents. ---

Dad was 34, Mom was 31 when they adopted me in 1969. My older sister was born in 1960. Between her birth and my adoption, Mom miscarried 3 times. My maternal grandparents were 29 (Grandpa) and around 28 (Grandma) when my Mom was born. She had a brother 6 years older. My paternal grandparents were 33 (Grandpa) and around 30 (Grandma) when my Dad was born. He has/had siblings up to 11 years older. ---
