Dad - 40 Mum - 26 Quite an age difference, 14 years, but apart from the fact that my Dad was likely to die first by quite a margin, and he did, it wasn’t ever an issue. ---

My Mum was 37 and my Dad was 35. I’m an only child unless you count my half brother on my mother’s side who is 15 years my senior… and I don’t. ---

My father was 29, my mother was 24. However, I was born only two days before my mother turned 25 and exactly two months after my father turned 29, so their age difference was more like 4 years and not 5. ---

My dad was 20 and my mom 21 when I was born. I’m the oldest of four, so mom and dad would have been 22/23 for my sister, 27/28 when my brother was born and 30/31 when they adopted my baby sister. Mom was the oldest of three and my grandmother was 26 to my grandfathers 23. Dad was the middle child of 5 and I think grandma was around 27 and grandpa was 30 ---

Dad was 29, Mom 27. He was 2 years and 3 months older than her. That made them “old parents” among their generation, most of my classmates’ parents were 5-10 years younger than my parents when their first child was born. They were 35 and 33 when Middlebro was born, 37 and 35 for Littlebro. Her parents were 26 (him) and 27 (her) when Mom was born; they had another daughter 2 years prior and another one 2 years later. Grandma was born when her mother was 27 and her father was 30? (I’m sure on the mother, may be one year off on the father); sister 3yo, brother 1yo, sister -1yo. ---

Mum 31 and dad 37 when I was born- 38 and 44 when my youngest sister was born. There are 4 yrs 4 months between them. Irishfella’s folks are the same age as my dad- they were 19 and 20 when his oldest sister was born and 31 and 32 when he was born. My folks have one grandchild and have just finished putting their youngest through university- his folks spend all their free time and disposable income looking after their 7 grandchildren. Swings and roundabouts. ---

My dad was 26 and my mom was 25. They’re nine months apart. I have one brother, 5 1/2 years younger. Mom and Dad were both 31 when he was born. ---

My mother was 6 months older than my father. When I was born she was a few months into 32, and he was a few months short of 32. ---

When I was born, my mom was 27 and my dad was 26. My mom and dad were 26 and 25 when my older sister was born, and my mom was 38 and my stepdad 44 when my younger sister was born. When my daughter, now 10, was born, I was 18 and her dad was 20. ---

Mom 22 and Dad 28. They were married at 19 and 25 and had their first child, my big brother, about a year later. ---

Dad was 41, Mom was 32. There’s a lot of old dads in this thread! When my daughter was born I was 33 and her mother was 29. ---

My mother was 35 and my father was 40. He had been in the Army and then gone to college, and they met at work where she was the boss’s secretary. Her father was 30 when she was born and her mother was 27, and they had a son born three years later; his father was 27 and his mother was 20, and they already had a 2-year-old daughter. This is not accounting for birthdays; it could be a year off either way in each of the parents’ cases. ---

My mother was 25 and my father 29 when I was born. For my older sisters they were 23/27 and 22/26. My mother’s parents were 35 (mother) and 37 (father) when she was born. I’m not sure about my father’s parents.
