According to Jordan Weissmann at _Slate_ [Acosta is “Dull. Accomplished. Conservative. Dull.”](http://www.slate.com/blogs/moneybox/2017/02/16/trump_s_new_labor_secretary_nominee_seems_boring_professional_and_conservative.html) Which is high praise for a Trump Administration nominee. So, it sounds like Acosta _could_ wind up being more towards the [Mattis or Chao end of the confirmation spectrum](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cabinet_of_Donald_Trump#Confirmation_process_timeline) rather than the Jeff Sessions or Betsy DeVos side. Probably won’t match David Shulkin, though.

(I wonder what Ben Carson’s confirmation is going to be like?)
