# How Serious is Michael Cohen's violation of Attorney Client Privilege?

I hadn’t heard of “one-party” consent states before.

I thought secret recordings were covered by Fed law? But, I’m just remembering news stories where people got in serious trouble for making them. That may only apply to recording phone conversations.
