# How should I act to get someone not to shoot me?

Carry your money separate from your ID and credit cards; keep the big bills on the outside, in a money clip. Same for your car, if he wants it. I keep my car keys separate from the rest if my keys with a pull-apart key chain. The insurance will get you a new car, but not a new life.

Sorry to say, there are crazies who will shoot you anyway. If you got a permit to carry, protect your life as you see fit; as you are able. Let the property go; it ain’t worth it.

Stay away from places where you put yoursel;f into a bind. I’d tell you to go into the military, acquire PTSD and hypervigilance (works for me), but there’s a bad downside to that as well…

Shit, you can even never leave your fortress home, open the door only for deliveries of sustinance, etc., etc. But someone might find a way to get through.

We are in a giant crap game. Knowing the odds helps, but there’s no guarantees.
