How the cops tried to frame my best friend for murder.

They continued to try and extract a confession after there was exculpatory evidence.

Did any of the cops give you a ticket? Also, did they ever find out what gang Danny was in? What a cliff-hanger!

Danny has never been in a gang. I don’t hang with folks like that.

What’s her full name?

Stan, your problem with this is that you come across in this tale of woe as a self agrandizing asshole with a serious chip on your shoulders in regards to the police, backed up by your other posts.

IF this story is true, you have my sincere sympathies for the loss of a friend.

However, you telling the cops there was no blood is not why they stopped. You were not integral to this in any way shape or form. You were a douchebag who was bordering on interfering with an ongoing investigation.

They looked at your friends car. Big deal. Just because you think he’s a saint who is above a murder, doesn’t mean he is. How many times have you heard “He was a quiet man, who seemed to really love his kids/wife/pet goat” on the news after some guy has wiped out his whole family?

This, combined with the fact that the suicide method here is HIGHLY unusual for a woman would give me, a non-cop, good reason to question everything. Especially since apparently the person that hit her ran, they felt it necessary to rule out his involvement.

You do understand what I’m saying?

That’s not framing.

Just making a point about the utility of police in my life. Just make it a point never to mess up around me, because I WILL make sure that you regret it.

You’d probably have gotten more sympathy if you hadn’t tried to use your personal tragedy to win an internet dick-waving contest.

I regret just being around you.

It was an attempt to put a man in jail for a murder that they knew damn well he didn’t commit. Perhaps my English is poor, but that is a frame-up in my book.

Oh frabulous joy. Another Internet-Tough-Guy™.

 <—ObRolleyes.

Well, rejoice, because you are not. I know I feel the same way.

They didn’t know damn well anything except that a girl was dead and they wanted to make sure that if she HAD been murdered, they didn’t make the mistake of chalking it up as a suicide just because you said so.

Anyone w/ good Google-Fu find a news story on this yet?

Like I said, the story of my apprehension of the folks who were burgling my house is a story for another time, child.

I am not big, I am not strong, I know no martial arts, and I have never even held a firearm. My penis is below average size.

But I am smarter than any criminal or cop, and that puts them at a distinct disadvantage. I’ll take that.

Whatever, whatever, whatever, whatever, and buh-bye.

Oh wait, you’re still here.

My condolences for your loss. However I think you’ve misunderstood a basic principle in your story. I’d say your friend was a suspect, but that’s hardly being “framed.” If he was being framed, he’d have to have been set up by the police in advance. As it was, they suspected foul play, saw your friend as the likeliest suspect and proceeded with an investigation. That’s how policework is done. If you put yourself in the police’s shoes (which I realize is a futile request), you might have seen their reasoning. It all worked out in the end, did it not?

Look Seymour, someone who posts a big long tale of self-promotion then tries to pull the sympathy card, followed by threats, isn’t in a position to call anyone ‘child’

Evidence is suggesting otherwise. You are not really demonstrating smarts, just overwhelming arrogance in the face of a rather called-for investigation of a woman’s death.

It didn’t make the news, although KNBC4 shot a segment, it was never aired. And there was no criminal, aside from a hit and run driver, who, IMHO was not at fault, except for running away. I might have done the same thing. For all I know, the driver had no idea that he had hit anything other than some debris in the road. She was lying down, with the INTENT of being run over.

I find five of these six assertions entirely believable.
