How the GOP can salvage something: "Coalition Government"

The Democrats and Republicans have been conspiring for decades to keep third parties out of the election process. I don’t like the idea of them taking that to the next step when their usual collusion fails.

I guess I need to expand a bit on what I mean by “endorsement”. Moderate GOP leaders tell people to vote for Clinton rather than Trump, and in addition use their organization, PAC’s, $ to support the Clinton campaign. They do what is necessary to deliver a sufficient ffraction of #neverTrump GOP votes to Hillary.

FYI - Christine Todd Whitman actually endorsed John Kasich a few weeks ago. What good has her endorsement done for him? Why on earth would anyone think that Hillary is just dying to get a piece of that Christine Todd Whitman action?

Let those “Moderate GOP leaders” do as they wish.

Let Hilary pick a good Democrat as her running mate & mount a strong campaign against whichever freak the GOP pick as their standard bearer. She will have her hands full–it is not her job to protect the Republicans from those vultures coming home to roost.

I trust the reasons are apparent today.

No. It wasn’t a good idea then, and it’s not a good idea in retrospect.
