Beaten to the punch. I was gonna recommend PaleMoon or WaterFox, both of which have solved various problems for various people I’ve previously recommended them to. NOTE: People with ancient PC’s need not apply - PaleMoon intentionally DOESN’T support ancient hardware/OS in order to optimize for modern hardware/OS (I think they’re phasing out WinXP support soon), and WaterFox is only for 64-bit CPU’s/OS’s. That’s part of the problem with FF - they try to support PC’s made during the Clinton administration!
So if you’ve been forced over to Chrome, but are aggravated by the piss-poor add-on availability/capability, give one or both a try. If you’re used to FF, there’s ZERO learning curve, since both PM and WF are nearly identical and use Mozilla’s addons and everything.
