# How To Apologise Effectively

It took less than 7 seconds to find [this thread](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=590441&highlight=sound), in which Ed responds directly to the problem. Now, maybe you _personally_ didn’t get a response but then again as you pointed out this was never _your_ problem to begin with.
