Just about the only time I hear about these “outrages” is when a right-winger posts it here, and I have two daughters in college(!). They are looking for reasons to be offended and get angry. It’s bizarre. Normal people see these stupid things and roll their eyes and move on. Right wingers get all triggered and outraged, and come running here to post about political correctness and SJWs. Do you see our resident liberals posting here about every ridiculous racist thing that some nobody posts on a Twitter comment? No, because we just roll our eyes and move on. ---

Is seems to me that by now the “badge of honor for defying political correctness” phenomenon has clearly outpaced the “meaningfully harmed by not being PC” phenomenon. I mean, you guys declared that racism was over when Obama was elected. Shouldn’t you declare that political correctness is over when you elected Trump? ---

In Mr. Morgan’s example, he may not have understood how his comments could come across as hurtful (didn’t read it, don’t care). He was corrected, by a whole THREE people on Twitter, and may now have some better understanding of what effect his words could have. Should he continue to make the same remarks, knowing that, then he is an asshole. How hard is “Don’t be an asshole”? ---
