# !!! How to Change Your Password !!!

Since there’s been more than one question asked about how to change your password, even in this forum, here’s how, even if you’ve forgotten it.
1 : Click on the profile button. A screen should come up which asks you to verify your screenname and password.
2 : Hitting “Submit” there should take you to your profile page where you can change your password, or any other information you like.
3 : If you’ve forgotten your password, hit the link that asks “Forgot your password?” This will prompt you for your e-mail address. You MUST enter the e-mail address that you are currently using. The password will be e-mailed to you.
4 : If you still can’t remember your password or the e-mail address that you registered under (if it’s different from what you’re using now) e-mail [Tubadiva@aol.com](mailto:Tubadiva@aol.com) or [Lynnbodoni@hotmail.com](mailto:Lynnbodoni@hotmail.com) for their help.

1. E-mail your password changes to [enderw19@aol.com](mailto:enderw19@aol.com) for compiling and statistical research purposes.
Remember, your password changes will be kept in the strictest of confidence by me as I hold your online safety and security in the utmost regard.

And I would add: No **NOT** send him your panties!
It doesnt matter what he tells you, you wont get them back, and he isnt using them for scientific research!

He lied to me?! I sent him my favorite pair, too! It was the silk ones with the little lip-prints and lace frilly things, for when I want to feel pretty on weekends…
Um, sorry, was that TMI?

I don’t know what you’re talking about. I’ve never done such a thing. Not for lack of trying though. All that money wasted on yoga classes and all I got out of it was 2 months in traction.

Sorry **Euty**.
I just thought that we’re here to fight ignorance and this was pretty much the best tool I could think of to determine who among us needed a good thrashing.
You’ll be proud to know that, so far, no students of the Straight Dope Academy have followed “suggestion” #5. I am, however, checking my e-mail hourly for new developments. One can never be too careful in the ransacking of an accou…er, fight against ignorance.
