My philosophy is pretty much live and let live. I have my thoughts and opinions…they have theirs. I don’t know which of us in the “right”. I just know that’s a big ol’ pathway. We should be able to walk it together. ---

On two occasions I’ve accompanied friends to Planned Parenthood for their abortions. Protesters were present both times trying to block our way. I pushed and shoved, yelling “COMING THROUGH”. I might have been rougher than absolutely necessary. ---

One thing is sure: there is nothing you can do that will completely stop them, or alter the beliefs or behaviours of all of them, because at any given event, _this isn’t all of them_. If you try to persuade today’s idiots not to be idiots, even if you succeed magnificently, tomorrow contains a fresh crop of idiots for you. Do what you feel is right in response if you feel you must, but don’t exhaust yourself trying to ‘remedy’ or ‘stop’ a problem that is just today’s spillage of idiocy, arising from and fed by a continuous flowing stream of idiocy. ---

I might have been rougher than absolutely necessary At the Planned Parenthood that I protested the protestors at, their thing was to try to get us angry while someone else filmed it, so they could then post it online out of context to make us look bad. Our number one instruction was not to let them piss us off enough to lose our tempers. It wasn’t easy. ---
