# How to donate body to science

I was disappointed the column failed to mention how to sell your corpse. I remember hearing something years ago about companies paying people to put a tattoo on their foot indicating where their body should go after they die. Probably an urban legend, but obviously no way to know for sure until Cecil weighs in.

Remember to sell Your body as it is when You’ll die, not as it is at the moment of selling. I read about a Swedish guy who sold his body to some university 'cause he needed money. After that he inherited a fortune and wanted to buy it back. The university refused even higher price 'cause the bodies are hard to get. So the guy sued them. He lost and even had to pay compensation for damaging the article because he have had pulled out two teeth.  
( Can’t cite, maybe it’s an urban legend, but just watch out… )
