I’m glad one of you made the Alice’s Restaurant joke before I did and fell on the sword. Thanks for that. The pole encased in concrete possibly qualifies as clean fill, so look for someone needing that and ask them if they can do anything with it. ---

if you have waste management “WM” as its now called you might have 4 free oversized items pickups a year (more if they aren’t sticklers about it ) if you call 24 hours (or more) before your pick up the only thing they wont take is the concrete …… but im not sure on that ---

Just look at your County’s web site. Under Land Fill. They are not called dumps anymore. ---

As for the second paragraph, lesson learned. ---

I suppose I should be grateful that I didn’t get a fifty-dollar fine (Warning: Alice’s Restaurant reference). And to get back to the original subject, how is it you didn’t just _ask_ at the town dump where you could dispose of the swing set remains, if not there? ---

I once had a couch that needed to be disposed of. Our dump did not want it without a hefty fee. I put it at the end of my driveway and put a sign on it that said Free. After 2 days it was still there. I then put up a sign that said $10.00, Please knock on door. It was gone the next morning. They left the sign. ---
