It provides a crazy journey like that, but it can’t work out how to drive “from Hong Kong, China, to Kowloon, China” (which basically just involves driving through a short tunnel). I discovered this when checking if you could drive from New York to Hong Kong. Apparently, driving in Asia is beyond Google Maps’ capabilities.

When I type in my zip code as a starting point in Google maps it gives the local mall parking lot as the starting point.
