Let’s say I have a really cool, rare disorder or disease that currently has no treatment or cure. How can I get the chance to enter drug trials that _might_ cure me? ---

Damn, beat me to it. Yup, that’s the resource to go to - even studies created by one person and run on a small number of study subjects (in the US) are supposed to get registered there. ---
