Another benefit is this unnamed credit union is apparently no great distance from @Johnny_L.A’s home. And unlike USPS, involves no driving as a work duty. ---

So the CU is in Bellingham proper? My late wife was house attorney to several unrelated credit unions. Each of them were very mellow places with sane humane management. The USPS has had very much asshole management for decades. And that’s before the current criminal regime had started wrecking it. Methinks you’ll be a LOT happier at the CU. ---
