When the hyperlinks to _ **all the fora** _ are purple. When your IRL friends who aren’t online all know what the SDMB is anyway. (as opposed to thinking it’s some kind of bondage site, like they did at first!) When you don’t have to double-check the odd spellings/punctuation/capitalization/spacing when referring to another Doper by name in a post. ---

When you get an iPhone and high-speed cellular data access so that you can browse the Dope while in motion on the way to work. When you remember how to add all the tags for links, bold text, etc, in your text without looking them up. And then you add them to regular web pages and wonder while they don’t work there as well. ---

This bothered Opal, who pointed out that a list should contain at least three items.
