My daughter bought a Yu Gi Oh Speed Duel starter set and wants me to help her figure out how to play.

Unfortunately, the rules that come with the set tell me bupkis about how to actually play the game. It has a URL that says it’s the complete rulebook, but it goes to the rules for a different game.
I found a wiki purporting to have the rules, but they are also less than helpful:

> [@](#):
>
> These are the current Speed Duel rules for the TCG and OCG.[2][3]
>
> ```
> Each player begins the Duel with 4000 LP.
>
> Each player begins the Duel with 4 cards in the starting hand.
>
> In the TCG, the Main Deck size is 20 to 30 cards. In the OCG, the Main Deck size is 20 cards.
>
> Extra Deck size is up to 5 cards.
>
> In the TCG only, each player has a Skill Card.
>
> Each player has 3 Main Monster Zones, 3 Spell & Trap Zones, and 1 Field Zone.
>
> In the TCG, there are no Extra Monster Zones. In the OCG, there are 2 Extra Monster Zones aligned in front of the leftmost and rightmost Main Monster Zones.
>
> There is no Main Phase 2.
>
> Like a normal Duel, the first player does not draw on their first turn, the hand size limit is 6, both players can have an active Field Spell Card and there can only be 3 cards with the same name in both the Main Deck and the Extra Deck.
>
> ```

I almost know _less_ about the game than I did before I started.

The official site gives me a choice between a PDF of what came with the game and a long video that goes too fast and assumes you already know what all the terminology means.

Is there any place out there that has straightforward instructions for playing game?

I have never played Yugioh, I know it’s a card game, that’s about it. I gather that speed duel is a variant of the regular rules, so maybe start there?
