# How to make a fat cat lose weight

We have three cats, and one of them is grotesquely obese. We don’t feed it anymore than the others, it just somehow got fat, probably from lack of activity. We’ve been feeding it separately with diet food for a while but it doesn’t seem to be helping. Any attempts to make him actually move prove mostly futile. Anything we can do?

Have you tried a laser pointer? Most cats can’t resist it.
