How to make the elections fairer

Now, for the Primaries… What if we had TWO National Election Days… One in May, for Primaries (once every four years, that is) to choose the Candidates, followed by the standard 6 months of campaigning, then the main election as usual in November. Everyone votes the same day, New Hampshire doesn’t get to pick the front runner for the rest of the country, blahblahblah. Also only people who are registered for a party get to vote for that party in the primary. (before you yell, I’m screwing myself here, as I’m an Independent, and proud of it). The whole point of the primary is is for the parties to choose their candidate, after all.

Also, Election Day itself (both of them): Polls open NATIONWIDE at midnight, EST (So, yes, election day would actually start three hours early on the west coast) and close the following midnight, EST.
