If people knew quite how unclean airline interiors are, they’d be wearing spacesuits, not shorts, crop tops, and sandals.
Post-COVID things are better, but not a lot.
I guess I’m weird. I don’t mind wearing jeans on the trip from the airport to my hotel. The difference in comfort is barely noticeable. My calves don’t feel the heat very much. So, on trips to Mexico (or Hawaii) I’ll wear jeans on the plane there and back, and shorts/bathing suits while there.
