# How to Post a Chess Diagram

I’m putting this here because **VarlosZ** asked me about it. To post something that needs fixed-width font, you should use the Code tag.

If you input something like this:

[**Code]B · · · · · K R  
· r · · · · · B  
· · · · · · R ·  
· · b · p · p ·  
· · P · k · P ·  
· p · · P · · p  
· P · · P · · P  
· · · N · N · ·  
[**/Code]

it will wind up looking something like this:

```auto

B · · · · · K R
· r · · · · · B
· · · · · · R ·
· · b · p · p ·
· · P · k · P ·
· p · · P · · p
· P · · P · · P
· · · N · N · ·

```

Note: I put four spaces in between each square there. Extra spaces don’t show up outside a [Code] tag, but they do show up inside one.
