I bought a new mouse last night, a very nice wireless laser mouse with these neat buttons to scroll fast, or go back and forward on the internets, and even does magnification. Woot! ---

Children, children, close the door, youā€™re annoying the whole place with your antics ā€“ not to mention making a mess with all the splashing! šŸ˜ƒ Morning, all. Our snow is very pretty. Unfortunately, tonight and tomorrow we have a chance of an ice storm. :rolleyes: Papa Tigsā€™ timing on going to Flahrida is PERFECT. The rat! :rolleyes: Note to self: If it does start to ice storm, make sure there is LOTS of water on hand for toilet flushing in case the power goes out since the well pump dies. Next note to self: Remember to never have well water again unless itā€™s someplace too warm for ice storms! How come I never get picked for a jury? Actually, to amend that, how come I never get called for jury duty? I only actually served once ā€“ went down for one day, had to persuade the idiot guard to let me carry my evil contraband knitting needles into the courthouse, and then sat there in a holding room until I got sent home. Iā€™d really enjoy serving on a jury! Of course, Iā€™ve watched enough lawyers in action in enough courtrooms that Iā€™d probably never, ever, EVER get picked for a jury, but itā€™s a fond dream of mine. To be the annoying juror who grasps all the legal maneuvering and annoys the rest of the jury in deliberations. šŸ˜ƒ Oh, and for those who really are interested, one can also take an opponentā€™s expert witness on voir dire ā€“ interrupting the direct exam to take the witness on voir dire to verify their expert qualifications and then either accept or object to their expert status. Arenā€™t you glad you asked? **snowbunny** as a small child was _particularly_ adept at landing on her head. Particularly by bouncing in her crib till she could bounce high enough to fly out of it! :eek: Of course, that does explain a lot. šŸ˜ƒ Her brother usually fell on his knees, although he did split his forehead open at the age of 15 months. The Idiots did their best to amuse me last night, and they certainly succeeded. At one point Rusty came in from the back yard literally covered head to toe in snow ā€“ he must have been rolling in it! And at bedtime biscuit time, when heā€™s always required to dance for his biscuit (and dance he does, with great enthusiasm), somehow I also persuaded Isaac to join him for the first time EVER ā€“ Isaac usually has FAR too much dignity for such goings-on ā€“ and then I couldnā€™t resist joining them, so the three of us danced in interweaving circles all over the kitchen till I was laughing so hard I could hardly breathe. Dogs are just as entertaining as cats sometimes! Time to stop rambling and get to work, now that I have enough caffeine in me to function. Remember, try not to splash all over the floor, but if you do, clean up after yourselves! šŸ˜ƒ ---
