# How to transfer from DVD

I have just done a skydive as I travel around Australia. The instructor I was attached to videod the dive with a hand camera, and so I recieved a DVD of my dive as a memento.

I would quite like to share this with people back home, so does anybody have any suggestions on how I could take the video from this dvd disc, and show the film on a site such as Myspace or facebook, or on any other site that would allow my friends back home to see what a stupid thing I just did???

Look for DVD Rippers. There are bajillions.

Hopefully it’s not encrypted like a commercial movie DVD would be. I use [HandBrake](http://handbrake.fr/) to transfer unencrypted DVDs to my iPod. It’s free and would work for your application.
