For Texas, it looks like it was almost [60%](http://team1.sos.state.tx.us/enr/results/nov04_141_state.htm). For [Denton County](http://team1.sos.state.tx.us/enr/results/nov04_141_county60.htm), we ranked a bit higher, coming in around 66%. Both of those are for registered voters. ---

All I can find for Iowa is that the turnout is expected to be higher than 2004, when the figure was 76%. And they haven’t counted absentees and provisionals yet.
