It has to be either a temporary problem with the site, or we broke it by having so many people listed in the results list. It worked fine for me yesterday, but gives the “a script of this page…” error as above today. ---

Well if that’s the case, I’ll make my _own_ 10 question SDMB quiz. It doesn’t require FlashPlayer, RealPlayer, or Quick Time … but unfortunately it does require a computer. 1. People at the SDMB quite often talk about death rays made during: [ul] [li]the 1920’s[/li][li]the 1930’s[/li][li]pre-historic times[/li][li]the Renaissance[/li][/ul] 3. The person mentioned whenever someone makes a list is: [ul] [li]Opal[/li][li]Garnet[/li][li]Cinnabar[/li][li]Igneous Rock[/li][/ul] 4. The Marianas Trench was visited just once in [ul] [li]1960[/li][li]the 1920’s[/li][li]pre-historic times[/li][li]the Renaissance[/li][/ul] 5. Some SDMB Moderators [ul] [li]do a fantastic job yet earn little reward and only a modicum of thanks at best. [ul] [li]Posting witty, clever parodies of quizzes[/li][li]Wishing death on someone[/li][li]Sending a Candy-Gram™ to a Doper in which the message specifically references wishing death on the recipient OR just any Doper name chosen at random[/li][li]Wishing death on everybody (both Dopers and non-Dopers)[/li][/ul] 8. Unlike the majority of Message Boards, here at the SDMB you _can’t_ [ul] [li]edit your posts[/li][li]roller skate in a buffalo herd[/li][li]Get No Satisfaction[/li][li]get there from here[/li][/ul] 9. Many of the SDMB members [ul] [li]have learned a great deal about many disciplines such as medicine, the law, mathematics, science, the arts, philosophy and many other subjects[/li][li]have learned a great deal from watching E![/li][li]have pretended to have advanced degrees in gynecology[/li][li]have escaped from a state institution[/li][/ul] 10. What is certain to happen if you _don’t_ renew your SDMB membership? [ul] [li]No big deal really. There are other Message Boards[/li][li]You might lose a valuable resource for finding answers to extremely technical, arcane and difficult questions[/li][li]you will get a visit from the SDMB enforcers telling you that they “wants yuz to renew or else they are gonna have to teach yuz some manners”[/li][li]you will have to get a real life[/li][/ul] ---

I’m taking **wolf\_meister’s** quiz. 1. Ok, I know it’s one of those dead president guys. Washington? Jefferson? McKinley? Oh! Adams. Yeah, Adams. 2. The 1920’s but everybody knows that Renaissance Death Rays are way cooler. 3. Hmm… It’s either 1. Garnet, 2. Igneous Rock (BAND NAME!) or, 3. Hi! Opal! 4. Everybody says 1960 but I’ve heard rumors about a visit in the 1920’s by somebody carrying a death ray. 5. Have (at least) sent away for a DeVry Institute catalog. I hear it’s the fact that they can complete their GED at home that excites 'em. 6. General Questions but I think Loaded Questions would be a good forum to add. It would be for posting while drunk (or is that drosting while punk?). 7. Posting witty, clever parodies of quizzes. Well, it it ain’t it should be. 😛 8. That’s a trick question. It’s actually edit your posts while roller skating in a buffalo herd. I think it’s a sticky at ATMB. 9. Many SDMB members have escaped from state institutions and gone on to earn their degree in Gynecology from the DeVry Institute. 10. You will get a visit from the SDMB enforcers telling you that they “wants yuz to renew or else they are gonna have to teach yuz some manners.” It’s true… I only just thought about not renewing for just a couple minutes… next thing I know… well, the shock treatments have blocked most of the horror from my memory now. :eek: ---

Glad to know I’m not the only one who had problems with the site. I clicked over to it after only reading the first couple posts, and felt so inadequate that I couldn’t get it to load (tried Firefox and IE). I didn’t want to take that stupid quiz anyway. 😛 ---

Aww… it won’t work for me, either. Tried it yesterday on Firefox, wouldn’t work; tried it today on IE and it still says the same thing about the script causing Flash to run slowly. Booo. ---
