# How well do you think you could weather a "bad break"?

Reading the responses from the various non-USAians I now know what a Third Worlder feels like watching a TV show of ordinary First World people going about an ordinary day.

It’s not a nice feeling. How can we be screwing up so badly at being a civilized country? And how much worse will it get before it gets any better? One shudders to think.
